Happy Thursday fellow bloggers! Today's post will be brief. I just wanted to post these two embellished picture frames that I just finished & are currently up for grabs in my Etsy shop. It's been a very long time since I did altered picture frames & I miss doing them. When I originally opened my shop I was gearing it more towards altered items such as frames/albums etc...but with my schedule it's been easier and faster to make smaller items such as scrapbook embellishments. However, these frames are more creative & require more thought. I just enjoy making these more! So I've been making the time for these frames. I hope to make more in the near future in different sizes. I've made a few mini albums as well that have already sold in Etsy but have never posted. I'll see if I can share them in the near future.
These are 8"x8" inch wooden frames that hold 3 1/2"x3 1/2" pictures.
This first one I've titled 'Autumn Breeze' because of the Autumn colors. It wasn't my intention but that was the direction my creativity led me & I just go with the flow...
The frame is covered in 'Antique Linen' crackle paint. The bird & transparent butterfly are items that are also found in my Etsy shop. The vines can be gently adjusted to your liking.
This second one follows a similar design as the first one but is in lavender/purple & teal hues with hints of yellow. I called this one 'Lavender Harmony'. The frame is covered in clear crackle paint. The chickadee & the hummingbird are embellies found in my Etsy shop.
A closeup of the chickadee & the cluster of flowers. The vines on this one can also be gently adjusted to your liking.
Tomorrow is Friday & I'm ready for the weekend as I'm sure many of you are as well!
Till my next post...I'm off to feed my Toby, he's giving me his 'I'm hungry' look...
